§ 36.45 DUTY TO INVESTIGATE; TIMELINESS.
   (A)   The Fire Marshal shall investigate the cause, origin, and circumstances of every fire occurring within the city by which property has been destroyed or damaged, and which was a result of carelessness or design.

   (B)   Investigation shall be begun within 24 hours, not including Sundays, of the occurrence of such fire.
