§ 72.06 PRESUMPTION REGARDING ILLEGALLY PARKED HEAVY VEHICLES; VIOLATION.
   (A)   In any prosecution charging a violation of this chapter governing the standing or parking of a heavy vehicle, proof that the particular heavy vehicle described in the complaint was parked in violation of this chapter, together with proof that the defendant named in the complaint was, at the time of such parking, the registered owner of such heavy vehicle, shall constitute in evidence a prima facie presumption that the registered owner of such heavy vehicle was the person who parked or placed such heavy vehicle at the point where, and for the time during which, such violation occurred.
   (B)   Any person violating this chapter or any provision shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine according to § 70.99.
