A violation of the grading regulation, a violation of any Stop Work Order or the removal or defacement of any such order posted pursuant to this chapter may be prosecuted as a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding $500, or by imprisonment for a period not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
