   The 2007 Edition of the California Mechanical Code, including the Appendices, as published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (hereinafter referred to as the "Mechanical Code" or "CMC"), is adopted and made part of this chapter by reference, subject to the modifications set forth in this chapter.
