A. All streets or roads shall be known by the same name for the entire length or as noted or determined by the city council. Sycamore Street runs from State Highway 99 to west city limits.
B. All street names will be reviewed by the address coordinator before being submitted to the city council.
C. When naming or renaming any street, access or easement, the address coordinator will have the right to select a name for the street, access or easement, in conformance with Butte County Ordinance Number 1874.
D. Any new city street may be officially named upon petition to the address coordinator in the form of a map showing, location and alignment of the street to be named. These names will be studied to assure that they do not duplicate or sound like any existing street names in the city or county. If one of these street names does not conflict with any existing street names, this name will be recommended to the city council in the form of a resolution. Upon approval by the city council, thereafter such street shall be officially known by the name so designated.
