9.20.040 Use of range or shooting gallery by persons under the age of eighteen years.
   Any person under the age of eighteen years may, while in custody of and under immediate control of his or her parent or guardian, use a BB gun, air gun, pellet gun, paint ball gun, spring gun, bow and arrow, and/or cross bow to shoot at an inanimate target on range or in a shooting gallery which has been authorized by the chief of police. With respect to paintball guns, the targets may be other persons, provided such persons are adequately supervised and wearing appropriate protective gear.
