§ 53.022 LOCAL LIMITS.
   (A)   The following pollutant limits are established to protect against pass through and interference. No person shall discharge wastewater containing in excess of the following instantaneous maximum allowable discharge limits:
      (1)   200 mg/l - BOD;
      (2)   350 mg/l - TSS;
      (3)   30 mg/l - Ammonia Nitrogen;
      (4)   Not required - Antimony;
      (5)   0.25 mg/l - Arsenic;
      (6)   2.0 mg/l - Barium;
      (7)   Not required - Boron;
      (8)   0.15 mg/l - Cadmium;
      (9)   1.0 mg/l - Chromium (total);
      (10)   0.5 mg/l - Copper;
      (11)   0.1 mg/l - Cyanide;
      (12)   50 mg/l - Fats, Oils, and Grease;
      (13)   2.0 mg/l - Iron (total);
      (14)   0.2 mg/l - Lead;
      (15)   1.0 mg/l - Manganese;
      (16)   0.0005 mg/l - Mercury;
      (17)   Reserved - Molybdenum;
      (18)   1.0 mg/l - Nickel;
      (19)   0.3 mg/l - Phenols;
      (20)   0.1 mg/l - Selenium;
      (21)   0.1 mg/l - Silver; and
      (22)   1.0 mg/l - Zinc.
   (B)   The above limits apply at the point where the wastewater is discharged to the POTW. All concentrations for metallic substances are for total metal unless indicated otherwise. The Code Enforcement Officer may impose mass limitations in addition to, or in place of, the concentration-based limitations above.
