CITY TREE COMMISSION
§ 33.01 ESTABLISHMENT OF CITY TREE COMMISSION.
   The Board will be charged with the responsibilities of the city’s Tree Ordinance, Chapter 97.

§ 33.02 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
   (A)   It shall be the responsibility of the Board to study, investigate, counsel, and develop, update, and administer an annual written plan for the care, preservation, pruning, planting, replanting, removal, or disposition of trees and shrubs in parks, along the streets and in other public areas. Such a plan will be presented annually to the Common Council and upon its acceptance and approval shall constitute the official comprehensive city tree plan for the city for that year.
   (B)   The Board, when requested by Common Council, shall consider, investigate, make findings, report, and make recommendations upon any special matter or question coming within the scope of its work.
