A. Every bicycle in use between sunrise and sunset, and at any other time there is not sufficient light, shall be operated with a light emitting device visible from a distance of at least five hundred feet (500') to the front, attached to the bicycle or the rider, and with a reflector clearly visible from the rear of the bicycle.
B. A bicycle or its rider may be equipped with lights or reflectors in addition to those required above.
C. Every bicycle shall be equipped with a brake which will enable the operator to make the braked wheel skid on dry, level, and clean pavement. (Ord. 832, 9-4-2007)
