26-52   Water Conditioning Appliance; Defined
For the purposes of this chapter, the term water conditioning appliance shall mean apparatus and equipment which is designed to soften or filter or change the mineral content of water where such apparatus and equipment is connected to a water supply system and is not connected to the drainage system.
The term connected to a water supply system shall not be considered to include connections to existing faucets.
