842.01   CONDITIONS.
   Rummage sales or garage sales shall be permitted to be held for the sale of various items of used personal property in residential neighborhoods without a permit and without penalty under the following conditions:
   (a)   No such sale shall extend beyond five days.
   (b)   No property owner shall permit, sponsor or conduct any such sale on his or her property more than once in any two-month period.
   (c)   Every such sale shall be conducted entirely within a garage or other structure and shall not be in an unenclosed area.

842.99   PENALTY.
   Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree and shall be fined not more than two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) or imprisoned not more than thirty days, or both, for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
