830.01 DRILLING PROHIBITED.

   From and after the effective date of this chapter (Ordinance 743, passed January 2, 1968), no person shall drill or cause to be drilled a well for the purpose of mining crude oil or natural gas anywhere in the Village.

830.02 APPLICATION OF ZONING CODE.

   Nothing in the Zoning Code shall be interpreted to permit the drilling and operation of gas or oil wells in the Village. Such uses are hereby expressly prohibited.
