Notwithstanding the provisions of this chapter, when authorized by an Ordinance passed by Village Council, competitive bidding and advertisement as described in Chapter 107 are not required for the Village to enter into contracts made pursuant to cooperative purchasing agreements as described in Ohio Revised Code Section 9.48 (or its successor section) or Ohio Revised Code Section 125.04 (or its successor section).
