(a) If, the Chief Building Official determines that the rental unit is in compliance with the Building Code and the Property Maintenance Code, then the Chief Building Official, or his designee, shall issue a Rental License to the owner of the premises. Such Rental License Occupancy Permit shall be valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of issuance unless the Occupancy Permit is revoked. Upon revocation of an Occupancy Permit the Rental License is automatically revoked.
(b) The owner shall have the right to appeal the denial of a Rental License pursuant to Chapter 1119 of the Planning and Zoning Code.
