The convenience and safety of the public shall be paramount considerations in the granting of any permit under the provisions of this chapter. The Village Chief Building Official or Village Engineer may issue further regulations, requirements, or conditions in connection with any of the above sections if they deem such further regulations, requirements, or conditions, necessary for the protection and preservation of the public peace, safety, welfare, and convenience.
