Street numbers for all new residential construction shall be of at least three (3) inches in height and shall be permanently carved, chiseled or cast into a hard masonry material such as stone or on a plate of metal such as bronze and permanently mortared into place on the front of the building in a prominent place such that it may be viewed from the street.
