(a) There is hereby created the position of Coordinating Inspector of Commercial and Industrial Buildings.
(b) The Coordinating Inspector of Commercial and Industrial Buildings shall be the Inspector of Buildings.
(c) It shall be the duty of the Coordinating Inspector of Commercial and Industrial Buildings to coordinate the functions and activities of, and to act as liaison between and among the other Inspectors herein provided, and the persons, firms, or corporations seeking information, aid, advice, permits, and inspections; to issue permits and collect proper fees therefor, upon the written directions and computations of the other Inspectors herein provided; forthwith to pay over all fees collected to the Finance Director; when knowledge thereof comes to him, to inform the other Inspectors herein provided of any construction, alteration, or repairs being made or done in the Village within their respective fields, and of any violations of which they should be informed; and when requested by any other Inspector herein provided, to serve stop orders issued by them.
(d) The compensation for the Coordinating Inspector of Commercial and Industrial Buildings shall be set forth in the resolution of appointment to such office.
