Entrance and exit access drives to accessory parking spaces shall be provided in accordance with the following:
(a) Driveways for single-family dwelling units shall be of a width and location as indicated in Section 1135.08.
(b) Access drives for nonresidential uses shall be of overall width and placement to minimize interference with normal traffic movements on a street.
(1) Access drives shall be no less than twelve (12) feet per directional lane.
(2) Access drives on corner lots shall be located as far from the street intersection as practicable, and whenever possible not less than 100 feet from the street intersection, measured from the intersection of the projection of the right-of-way lines.
(3) Access drives providing direct access to a major arterial or collector street shall be spaced not less than 200 feet from one another.
(4) Access drives shall be kept open and unobstructed.
(c) Parking areas serving adjoining nonresidential establishments shall be interconnected by on-site drives where possible and be designed to provide maximum safety and convenience.
