1111.06 VILLAGE COUNCIL.

   For the purposes of this Planning and Zoning Code, the Village Council shall have the following powers and duties:

   (a)   To investigate and propose on its own initiative such amendments to the Planning and Zoning Code as it may deem consistent with the purposes of this Planning and Zoning Code;

   (b)   To hold public hearings and vote upon proposed amendments to this Planning and Zoning Code, including text amendments and amendments to the Official Zone Map;

   (c)   To hear and decide appeals from any decision of the Planning Commission in the administration of the Planning and Zoning Code.

   (d)   To hear and decide all other matters referred to and upon which it is required to pass by this Code or the Village's Charter.
