(a) Pursuant to authority of the Village Charter, the following officers and employees shall execute bonds in an amount not less than the penal amount set forth opposite the title of their respective offices or positions:
(1) Mayor $ 25,000
(2) Finance Director 50,000
(b) Pursuant to the Ohio Revised Code, the officers and employees of the various department of the Village may be covered by a blanket bond in the penal amount of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500), indemnifying the Village against loss occasioned by the failure of any officer or employee of such departments to faithfully perform his or her duties.
(c) The premium for such bonds hereof shall be paid by the Village.
