139.17 COURT TIME FOR POLICE OFFICERS.
   (a)    Full-time regular police officers shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times their regular rate of pay for court appearances for which the officer is required if such court appearance is at a time outside the officer's normal tour of duty. Full-time regular police officers shall be compensated for a minimum of two (2) hours calculated based upon portal to portal.
 
   (b)    Part-time or reserve police officers shall be paid at their regular hourly rate for court appearances for which the officer is required if such testimony arises out of his official police duties with the Village. Part-time or reserve officers shall be compensated for a minimum of four (4) hours calculated based upon portal to portal.
