139.04 EMPLOYEE PROBATIONARY PERIOD.
   All new or promoted employees are subject to a probationary period as follows:
      Full-time employee - one year from date of appointment.
      Part-time, seasonal part-time, or temporary part-time employee - 1040 hours.
   During the employee's probationary period, the employee may be terminated without cause. In the case of promotion, the employee may be placed back into his former position if the Mayor considers the employee unsuitable for the intended position.
