Each elective officer of the Village shall hold no other public office, public employment or service of, for or with this Village during his term. Non-elective officers, employees, or personnel may hold other non-elective public office, public employment or service of, for or with this Village at the same time. No officer, employee, or other personnel of the Village, elective or otherwise, shall have any financial interest in any contract with or expenditure of money by the Village other than his fixed compensation and expenses for traveling, or other proper allowances that may be made under this Charter. Any such person who fails to comply with the requirements or qualifications of this section or any other applicable Section of this Charter shall forfeit his office or employment.
