4-4-4: DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONTRACTORS:
   A.   Site Maintenance: Contractors licensed under this chapter shall, at least once each week, remove or cause to be removed from the site of the licensee's activities all trash, refuse and waste materials. Licensees shall at all times keep the site of activities in an orderly condition, free from stagnant water, unguarded dangerous implements and health and safety hazards, and licensees shall not obstruct traffic on streets or sidewalks or permit dirt or waste materials to fall or be carried onto such public ways.
   B.   Street Designation Signs:
      1.   Any building contractor who applies for building permits for more than fifty percent (50%) of the lots in any one block or is responsible for the construction of more than fifty percent (50%) of the dwelling units in any one block shall cause a street designation sign to be placed at each end of the block. (1978 Code § 3-3-4)
      2.   The street designation signs shall be placed within the public right of way at such points as the village director of community development shall reasonably designate, and they shall be constructed of such materials and be of such proportions as the director of community development may reasonably designate.       3.   The village clerk shall at all times keep a record of the location at which the signs are to be placed and shall keep a record of the size and material specifications for the signs.
      4.   Street designation signs shall be erected as soon as is practicable after the commencement of construction. (1978 Code § 3-3-4)
