§ 158.320 PURPOSE.
A townhome, as defined in § 158.004, is intended to promote more efficient use of land as compared with typical single family residential development and to introduce a type of housing design that is more affordably priced. This use of design principles allows for the integration and relation of the internal and external living areas by placing the dwelling units against one or more of the property lines, thus permitting outdoor spaces to be grouped and utilized at a larger scale.
   (A)   Townhomes shall be allowed in any R-2, R-3, R-4, B-1, PUD and MU zoning district(s), as required in §§ 158.095, 158.115, 158.135, 158.155, 158.225, 158.270.
   (B)   Townhomes shall be a Conditional Use in B-2, General Business Zoning District.
   (C)   Townhomes are prohibited in any AG, R-1, B-3, OP, P, or I-2 zoning district(s).
