Anyone operating a motor vehicle storage yard within the City shall provide that such yard be so located that the view thereof is obscured by natural objects or an obscuring fence not to exceed six feet in height. If a yard is to be obscured, the person operating or maintaining it shall be entitled to a license.
(Ord. 6201-90. Passed 7-23-90.)
"Motor vehicle storage yards" means any place where a motor vehicle of any nature is stored for a period of seven days or more for any reason whatsoever and this is not to be construed as a license for a junk yard, and/or auto salvage yard as junk yards and/or auto salvage yards are completely prohibited from operating in the City.
(Ord. 6201-90. Passed 7-23-90.)
The fee for such license under this chapter is twenty-five dollars ($25.00), and all licenses issued hereunder shall expire one year from the date of issue. A license may be renewed from year to year upon payment to the Mayor or Zoning Inspector the sum of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per year.
(Ord. 6201-90. Passed 7-23-90.)
Any license or renewal hereof issued hereunder may be revoked by the Mayor or Zoning Inspector after notice of thirty days and an opportunity to be heard for any violation of this ordinance or of any other ordinance of the City of Girard, Ohio, or the laws of the State of Ohio, by the licensee or any of his officers, agents or employees. Whenever a license has been revoked under this ordinance, the Mayor or Zoning Inspector shall not issue another license to such licensee or to the husband or wife of such licensee or to any partnership or corporation of which he or she is an officer or member until the expiration of at least one year from the date of revocation of such license.
