375.04 PERMITTED OPERATION.
   Snowmobiles and all purpose vehicles being used for winter travel may be operated as follows:
   (a)   To make a crossing in a highway, subject to the provisions found herein, other than a freeway or limited access or interstate highway, whenever the crossing can be made in safety and will not interfere with the movement of vehicular traffic approaching from any direction on the highway, and provided that the operator yields the right of way to any approaching traffic that presents an immediate hazard;
   (b)   No snowmobile or all purpose vehicle may be operated on Main Street or any highway within the Village lying South of Eighth Street and North of Fifth Street and West of Washington Street and East of Superior Street, except during an emergency or whenever the local authority having jurisdiction over such streets or highways so permits.
   (c)   The driver of the snowmobile use the permitted Village Streets to the nearest exit out of the Village.
   (d)   The operator of any snowmobile or all purpose vehicle shall comply with all Village ordinances and all statutes and regulations of the State.
