All ordinances and resolutions shall be numbered in sequence, therefore eliminating separate numbering systems for the two categories of legislation.
The number assigned to the ordinance or resolution shall consist of not less than three digits: The first digit or digits shall indicate the sequence of legislation passed in that fiscal year. The last two digits shall always be the last two digits of the year in which the legislation is passed.
The first ordinance or resolution passed after January 1, of each year shall have the first digit or digits assigned as one (1) and continue consecutively to December 31 of that year.

(a) All ordinances and resolutions required to be published, which are passed by Council, shall be published by posting copies thereof in not less than six of the most public places within the corporate limits of the Village, as provided for in Section 105.01(f); for not less than fifteen days prior to the taking effect thereof, in accordance with Ohio R.C. 731.25.
(b) In addition to posting of the ordinances and resolutions, Council may by motion passed by the majority of the members thereof, require the publication of certain resolutions and ordinances in any newspaper printed in Ohio and of general circulation in the Village.
(c) This section shall not affect the publication requirements with respect to bidders for the construction of public improvements and the sale of bonds, notices of which shall be published in not more than two newspapers printed in Ohio and of general circulation in the Village.
