No person shall be eligible to receive an original appointment to the Division of Fire unless he or she has reached the age of eighteen years and unless, not more than 120 days prior to the date of such appointment, he or she has passed a physical examination by a licensed physician. All other requirements shall be set forth in the Fire Department official policy statement.
