(a) The Mayor shall appoint a Mayor’s Court Clerk who will maintain all appropriate records and otherwise perform the duties of the position in accordance with state and local laws and rules of court.
(b) The Mayor shall appoint a Village police officer as Deputy Violations Bureau Clerk to act as Mayor’s Court Clerk when the Mayor’s Court Clerk is not on duty.

The Mayor’s Court shall establish a Violations Bureau in accordance with Rule 13 of the Ohio Traffic Rules, other provisions of state law, and provisions adopted by Council that may differ therefrom, and such Violations Bureau shall have authority to process and dispose of those offenses that are deemed to be waiverable. Offenses not deemed waiverable shall be transferred to the Lyndhurst Municipal Court in accordance with law.
