(A) It is unlawful to sell or offer for sale at retail any alcoholic liquor or beverages in the village except during the hours permitted herein. Hours during which the sale of the alcoholic liquor or beverages is permitted are as follows:
(1) Monday through Saturday: 8:00 a.m. through 1:30 a.m. of the following day; and
(2) Sunday: 11:00 a.m. through 1:30 a.m. Monday.
(B) It is unlawful for the licensee to permit or suffer any persons other than the licensee, his or her manager or his or her employees actively engaged in stocking, repairing or cleaning the premises, to occupy the premises during prohibited hours. Closing hours shall be posted on the premises of each licensee.
