(a) Except as may be otherwise provided, the required amount of fines authorized to be received by the Traffic Violations Bureau of the Gallipolis Police Department in accordance with provisions of Section 303.98 shall be as follows, and shall in substance be described in any official notice issued by the Police Department with reference to parking violations alleged to have occurred under this Traffic Code. The amounts hereinafter set forth constitute the initial amount, the amount due after seventy-two hours, and the amount due after thirty days from the date of issuance of such notice.

(b) If the amount in subsection (a) hereof is not paid within thirty days from the date the notice of violation was issued, a summons of complaint may be issued. If the violator fails to answer the summons of complaint, a warrant of arrest may be issued for the violator. In such event, the penalties shall be those as established by the Municipal Court in accordance with Ohio R.C. 4511.99.
