The purpose of the LI Light Industrial District is to provide suitable areas for the development of industrial activities. Those activities permitted by right are clean, quiet, and free of hazardous and objectionable elements relating to noise, odor, dust, smoke, and glare; are operated within enclosed structures; and pose no hardship or burden on public utilities or service. Activities that are subject to conditional use approval shall require a conditional use permit. All industrial uses that are permitted or conditionally permitted in this zoning district are listed in this Title Five, and uses that are not specifically mentioned are not permitted.
