For any check under the amount of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000), the checkwriter using facsimile signatures may be used; for any check in the amount of fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) or over, it is necessary to have original signatures of designated officials of the City to sign those checks. Those designated officials shall be the City Manager and the City Auditor; in the absence of either one of these officials, the City Solicitor is authorized to sign checks.
