(a) Severability. If any provisions of this chapter or the application thereof is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or application of this chapter, which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application and to this end the provisions of this chapter are hereby declared severable.
(b) Minimum Maintenance Requirement. The owner of a historic structure or any structure within a historic district shall provide sufficient maintenance and upkeep of such structure to ensure its perpetuation and to prevent its destruction by deterioration and to conform to any existing and future applicable City property maintenance codes.
The provisions above shall be in addition to all other applicable provisions of the BOCA Maintenance Code of the City of Gallipolis and the Zoning Ordinances of the City of Gallipolis.
