1135.05 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY REQUIRED.
Before any change in use or ownership, with or without construction of a commercial building, may take place, the applicant shall obtain a certificate of occupancy from the Code Enforcement Officer. The Code Enforcement Officer shall ensure compliance with this Zoning Ordinance before a certificate of occupancy may be issued. The issuance of the certificate of occupancy in no way relieves the recipient from complying with all other requirements of this Zoning Ordinance, including a Construction Permit, if applicable. The property owner is responsible for obtaining occupancy certificates from the State of Ohio on all commercial structures which require a state permit.
