SECTION 82. OATH OF OFFICE.

All persons before taking office shall take the oath of office prescribed by law, but the oath of office of the City Commissioner shall be in writing and be filed with the City Auditor and shall contain the affidavit that in his candidacy for nomination and election he has not violated any provision of Section 4 of this charter.
