(a) License Required. No person shall operate or maintain a junkyard unless he has first obtained a license issued by the City Manager or his designee.
(b) License Application. Any person desiring the license required by this chapter shall apply to the City Manager or his designee upon such blanks as shall be prescribed by him. On the application, the applicant shall state his name, whether a person, firm or corporation, the location at which such business is to be conducted or maintained, the size and number of buildings to be used, the exact size and location of the area to be used for the aforementioned operations, and any other information that may be requested by the City Manager or his designee.
