§ 95.02 ARTESIAN BEACH AND LAKE REGULATIONS.
   (A)   Town authority. The Board of Trustees may adopt from time to time regulations applicable on the town’s Artesian Beach Lake and the adjacent park areas, a copy of which is available from the Town Clerk-Treasurer.
   (B)   Rules and regulations.
      (1)   Fishing and other recreational uses.
         (a)   Except as modified herein, all state fishing regulations shall remain in full force and effect, including, but not limited to, license and permit requirements.
         (b)   The following shall be the regulations for the Artesian Beach Lake.
            1.   The use of flotation devices is limited to float tubes, canoes, rowboats and other flotation devices powered by internal combustion engine, electric motor, oars, paddles or other human powered items. Flotation devices that cause a wake or exceed a speed limit of five mph are strictly prohibited.
            2.   All other State Department of Wildlife Conservation rules and regulations shall remain in full force and effect.
            3.   All words, phrases and sentences herein shall be given their ordinary use and meaning and be as defined in statutes of the state.
      (2)   Prohibited activities and articles.
         (a)   Spear fishing, open containers of intoxicating beverages or low-point beer and glass containers are prohibited at Artesian Beach.
         (b)   It shall be unlawful for any person to swim in, run in, walk in, loiter in, stand in or motor upon the body of water known as the Artesian Beach.
