§ 9-10-1 DESIGNATION.

   At the intersections hereinafter enumerated, when vehicles are traveling in the direction indicated, the driver of such vehicle shall stop or yield as indicated and shall yield the right of way to other vehicles which have entered the intersection or are approaching so closely as to constitute a hazard, and having so yielded to vehicles not so obliged to stop or yield, may proceed cautiously and with due care enter said intersection. The driver of a vehicle approaching a yield sign shall slow down to a speed reasonable for the existing conditions or shall stop if necessary.
