A. Meters Required: All structures using the city water supply system must be equipped with an adequate water meter furnished and paid for by the city; provided, that such service may be supplied by the city at a flat rate of charge until such meter may be installed. Meters shall be installed in a location that will be of easy access.
B. Reading Meters: The city shall read or cause to be read every water meter used in the city on or near the twentieth of each month so that the bills may be sent out as close to the first of the month as possible. (1984 Code § 7-3B-6 7-3B-5; amd. Ord. 676, 11-23-2020)
