When authorized by resolution and directed by the city council, the chief of police or his designee shall be authorized to erect traffic control signs, including, but not limited to, establishing such traffic regulations, parking restrictions or traffic direction signs within the city limits. Any violation of those signs when properly erected shall be an infraction and shall be punishable in accordance with the laws of the state. (Ord. 572, 10-14-2013)
