Whenever the following terms or abbreviations are used in this chapter, they shall have such meanings herein ascribed to them unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning. The Town Council shall have the final authority in deciding the meaning of these terms.
DISCONNECTION. The filing of a disconnection notice by the Clerk-Treasurer with the Water Superintendent. While a disconnection may conclude with the physical shut-off of a user’s water service, such shut off is not required to incur a disconnection fee.
