§ 51.17 ASSESSMENT AND COLLECTION.
   (A)   Findings. The Town Council finds that the rates and charges established pursuant to this subchapter are reasonable and just within the meaning of I.C. 8-1.5-3-8.
   (B)   Schedule. A copy of the schedule of rates and charges adopted in this subchapter shall be kept on file and be available for public inspection in the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
   (C)   Utility bill. The user fees and charges assessed pursuant to this subchapter shall be added to each customer's respective monthly utility bill, and the town shall collect the assessed rates and charges.
   (D)   Town-owned real property. The utility billing clerk shall assess and collect user fees from the town for all town-owned real estate using the rates and charges established in this subchapter only to the extent required by applicable law.
   (E)   Deposits. All amounts collected pursuant to an assessment in this subchapter shall be deposited in the principal fund associated with the town's Water Department.
   (F)   Authorization. The Clerk-Treasurer and utility billing clerk shall take all action necessary or proper to implement this subchapter.
