612.99 PENALTY.

   It shall be a violation of this Chapter to do any prohibited act or to fail to comply with any requirement hereunder. The penalty for violations of this Chapter shall be as follows:

   (a)   For Sections 612.02 (Animals at Large), 612.04 (Dogs Generally), 612.09 (Disturbing Noises); 612.10 (Keeping Livestock Prohibited), 612.11 (Killing), 612.12 (Diseased Animals); 612.13 (Burying of Dead Animals); 612.14 (Control of Horses and Mules), and 612.16 (Interference):

      (1)   First Offense (per violation) - Standard fine of $50.00, with a minimum fine of $50.00 and a maximum fine of $500.00.

      (2)   Second Offense (per violation) - Standard fine of $150.00, with a minimum fine of $150.00 and a maximum fine of $500.00; and

   (b)   For Section 612.05 (Dangerous Dogs) and 612.07 (Cruelty):

      (1)   First Offense (per violation) - Standard fine of $400.00, with a minimum fine of $400.00 and a maximum fine of $500.00.

      (2)   Second Offense (per violation) - Standard fine of $500.00, with a minimum fine of $500.00 and a maximum fine of $500.00.

   (c)   For Sections 612.06 (Vicious Dogs) and 612.08 (Fights): Standard fine of $500.00, with a minimum fine of $500.00 and a maximum fine of $500.00.
