612.11 KILLING; EXCEPTIONS.
   No person shall kill any bird or animal or rob the nest of any bird, unless such bird or animal is the property of such person and such killing by the owner is for purposes of euthanizing their bird or animal or to provide food for the owner. The prohibition on killing provided for in this section shall not apply to licensed veterinarians euthanizing birds or animals or to the killing of rodents, vermin or other animals or birds declared by Council to be pests.
