Occupants of buildings that do not comply with this subchapter will be notified and requested to meet its requirements within 60 days from the date of notification. If, after 60 days, these requirements have not been met, a warning notice will be issued. If, within 30 days of receiving a warning notice (by hand delivery, registered or certified mail), the occupant does not comply with this subchapter, he or she shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
