§ 51.045  SEWAGE SYSTEMS PROHIBITED NEAR WATER SUPPLY.
   No person, firm, or corporation shall erect any privy, cesspool, septic tank, sanitary sewer, or any other structure, tank, or container above, on, or below the ground that might contaminate the city water supply, closer than 200 feet to the nearest property line of any well or well field of the city waterworks.  However, if any installation is approved by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the city and the State Board of Health and a permit issued for the installation contrary to the provisions set out in this chapter, the person, firm, or corporation shall have the right to cause the installation to be made.
