The rate established for A classification is available for residential service to an individual residence or dwelling only, designed and arranged to provide living quarters for one family. Customers shall not have the privilege of taking service for the case of an apartment house with a number of individual apartments. The landlord is given the option of providing separate wiring for each apartment, so that the utility may supply each apartment separately under these schedules, or instead of providing separate wiring for each apartment, of taking the combined service under the applicable schedule with the minimum charge and the quantity of kilowatt-hours in each block multiplied by the number of apartments in the building.
