The parent of any child and the guardian of any ward shall not authorize or knowingly permit any child or ward to violate any provisions of § 96.15. Any parent or guardian knowingly authorizing or permitting a violation shall upon conviction thereof be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished in accordance with the provisions provided for in § 96.99.
